Introduction
The credit estimator asks a series of questions about your role, length of service, course history and the learning you may have gained from your skills and experiences. At the end you will be provided with a Summary, this can be downloaded in PDF format.
By entering your details into the Credit Estimator the College of Policing is providing you with an indication of the typical number of credits an individual with the same experience and training could potentially receive from a Higher Education Institution (HEI).
The exact number of credits awarded will be determined by the HEI you are applying to. You must provide sufficient evidence, in line with the HEIs internal process to be awarded credits. The courses and experience you have completed must be sufficiently relevant to the course being applied for to be counted.
Please note that information entered into the credit estimator will not be stored or held by the College of Policing.
